Drive And Learn Spanish Beckerman

Hey everyone!

Today we going to learn kamoshiremasen.

This is a Japanese language way of stating that some event or state will possibly occur.

Let’s think about these statements in English:

“It may be humid tomorrow”

“I may go to an Italian restaurant”

“I may go and watch a movie”

“It may be difficult”

You can use kamoshiremasen with verbs, adjectives and nouns (but the rules vary!)

Verbs: plain form kamoshiremasen (. Eg iku kamoshiremasen)

i Adjectives: adjective kamoshiermasen (. eg atarashii kamoshiremasen)

na Adjectives: adjective kamoshiremasen (. eg benri kamoshiremasen)

So let’s translate those English sentences from above:

“It may be humid tomorrow”

ashita wa mushi atsui kamoshiremasen

“I may go to an Italian restaurant”

itaria no resutoran ni iku kamoshiremasen

“I may go and watch a movie”

eiga o mi ni iku kamoshiremasen
