Save the date! Hughesville Area Public Library is holding an Open House on Sunday, April 3, from 2 to 4 pm to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the opening of the new library building. From a humble beginning in the home of Alice Wheelock in 1940, the library has grown and flourished to become the current modern facility that exists today. The community, whose support has been vital to the growth and success of the local library, is invited to attend and see first-hand the materials and services that are available to all area residents. Light refreshments will be available in the library’s community room.

Mango Languages (Start here) Language learning with beauty and brains. Learning with Mango is organized, practical, and totally painless. And the most important part? It actually works. Mango is free for all library members with an active library card. Mango Languages can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions.
