  • Coordinate and facilitate the integration of essential 21st Century Literacy skills across school, serving over 350 students and 40 teachers.
  • Co-plan and co-teach project-based units of inquiry with Elementary School classroom teachers that embed authentic use of multimedia, information literacy and technology in the classroom.
  • Merge the e-learning and library departments into one collaborative team, in order to develop vision for 21st Century Learning at BISS

  • I completely redesigned the MHS library and facilitated school expansion to include a new Elementary library in a 3-story Early Learning Center of 12 classrooms for Nursery to Grade 5 students.
  • I conduct formal and informal in-service training courses for faculty and staff as well as professional development seminars for all faculty.
  • Under the supervision of the Superintendent I coordinate the annual order and distribution of instructional materials and resources.
  • As a Head of Department of Foreign Languages I develop curriculum at the team level using the Understanding by Design process. I authentically embed 21st century literacy with the Foreign Languages core curriculum, as a model for divisional and school-wide curriculum review processes.
