Let’s look at the Numbers in Spanish 1-100

In this numbers in Spanish worksheet initial section,

we will take a look at the numbers from 1 to 30 in detail;

and later on we will continue with the rest of the numbers all the way to 100.

Numbers in Spanish from 1 to 10:

Now, let’s look at the numbers from 11 to 20

Now, let’s look at the Spanish numbers from 21 to 30 (as you will notice, numbers between 21 and 29 are formed by the word “venti” and a regular number right next to it)

After number 30, numbers in Spanish show a very consistent and predictable pattern.

Let’s see a few examples, try to notice the patterns:

38 - thirty-eight

43 - forty-three

72 - seventy-two

87 - eighty-seven

95 - ninety five

As you may have guessed,

these Spanish numbers are formed by the tens (30, 40, 50 …)

followed by the word “y” (which is similar to the word “and”, it works as a conjunction)

and another number from 1 to 9.

For example:

45 - forty five and

52 - fifty and Two

84 - eighty and four

First, let´s take a look at each 10 number increment (also known as tens):
