Well Español Básico • Basic Spanish For Homeschoolers is a curriculum I’ve written for non-native speakers who would like to learn Spanish, and for non-native speaking homeschooling parents who want to help their kids learn Spanish. I’ve been teaching Spanish at a elementary school level homeschool supplemental program for over 6 years, and have been writing the worksheets I’m now collecting into these workbooks.
Spanish is a beautiful, poetic language. I’m interested in creating a truly foundational and simple set of workbooks that would help students grasp solid basics of what they want to say and how to say them, at very minimum on a written/reading level. I figure if they can grasp the important framework, it may help make students braver to begin speaking it!
The first two books in this line are in Beta edition during the 2015-2016 school year. I’m using these books with my 4th through 6th graders to see if I need to tweak/edit the written exercises any further (and to get rid of those pesky invisible typos that escaped me the first half dozen times!!) These first two books (God Willing!) will be available to the general public by summer 2016.
