The Centro de Idiomas Language School offers a variety of languages, specialising in Spanish and English, in the centre of Coín, a town of some 22,000 inhabitants located in the province of Malaga in the hills approximately 25 kilometres from Malaga city, Fuengirola and Marbella.

Since 1999, the Centro de Idiomas Language School in Coin has been run by Valerie Jeffrey, who graduated in modern languages from Trinity College , Dublin.
Valerie also writes a column for The News Magazine and is author of a series of simple, user-friendly books which concentrate on teaching conversational Spanish.
