- Dual-Credit/PSEO Courses and Enrollment – 57 courses/120 students (328 total enrollments) took one or more courses for 2011-2012 school year; 20 courses taught directly at Bellevue High School
- Grade Point Average Improvements – Failure Rate in classes at BHS has been declining based upon “Doing Whatever it Takes” to allow students opportunities to show their learning and expecting students to show their learning
- ACT Scores/Results (College Readiness Score & Trends) – 37 of 53 (69.8%) 2012 Graduates took the ACT; 34/47 (72%) of 2011 graduates took the ACT; 44/63 (69%) of 2010 Graduates took the ACT; 19/43 (44.2%) of 2009 Graduates took the ACT;27/42 (64.3%) of 2008 Graduates took the ACT; 27/60 (45%) of 2007 Graduates took the ACT

- Wireless Campus – Internet access in each building and on the entire school campus
- Student Technology Access – Ratio of MS/HS students to computers – ALL 9th through 12th grade students have their own laptop computer to use in school and at home; MS students have a 1.8:1 student to computer ratio; In addition, one updated PC business lab with 20 computers, and one PC technology lab with 26 computers

- Iowa Core Graduation Requirements & Enrollment in Second Language Course – Over 92% of students enrolled in a foreign language (Spanish) at some level; Refer to Dual-Credit enrollment for data on Juniors and Seniors in College-Level Spanish
- “Real-Life” experiences for students – Spanish Trip to Spain for 23 students during the 2010-2011 school year; Job Shadowing and Career Opportunities; Relevant Learning Curriculum for students; Community Engagement opportunities for students and a Service Learning/Senior Project Component

- Graduation Requirements – Algebra and Biology required for all graduates; All 8th Grade students take Algebra; Potentially moving to more than this in the future – Currently in effect for ALL HS students at this time
- MS courses that are beyond the norm – Technology application courses, Documentaries, “Real-Life Math”, other 21st Century Skill classes that are preparing students for HS and the application of their learning
- Student Engagement and Application of their learning – Student products sharing learning outside of the building (Youtube downloads, Podcasts, iMovies, Websites, etc.)
- Student Pep Rally -Student Recognition for Academic Achievements – Student Recognition Awards – Staff Assemblies with Student Recognition in the 2012-2013 school year
- Positive Progress Reports – Requirement to send home reports quarterly
- Pyramid of Interventions & “Zero-Block” & 9thBlock” Learning Opportunities – Tutoring as an aspect of this time to offer academic assistance and increase learning opportunities

- Career Planning Activities – 4-Year plans in place for all students in grades 9-12; 21st Century Career course for students in high school and middle school; Career Tech Workplace opportunities for students with credit for students; Regular Career Exploratory Trips for Students during the school year
