Duolingo is an excellent online application helping people all around the world learn various languages. I have been using it to improve my Spanish for more than a year. I like their website.

Their program tracks your program with points and a path to follow, a bit like a game. They cover both listening, writing, reading, translation, and speaking. They also force the students to review periodically the concepts learned.

I started the program. At this moment, it is only available on the web. I am enjoying making progress and earning my points.
Anything that can make my life easier to learn Swedish and discover Sweden and its culture is good.
Duolingo is easy to use on the go. They cover well the world of mobile devices, covering iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. However, Swedish is not yet available on mobile apps.
Hopefully, it will come soon. But for the moment, studying Swedish must be done on the web.
