Originally from Valencia, Sergi has been living and teaching Spanish in Barcelona for ten years, where he completed his training as a Spanish teacher as a second language. He and his wife did what most people only dream of: they traveled around the world for a year visiting many new and fascinating countries and cultures. They ate bugs in Cambodia, drove across the searing Australian outback and dove in some of the most beautiful marine waters in the world. Meeting new people and learning about new cultures continues to inspire Sergi.
Today Sergi teaches regular courses at Spanish school and also organizes the classes that the school now offers via Skype. He also has a great where he posts free Spanish lessons on a regular basis. When he has some energy left, he likes to give his students another view of Barcelona’s culture by organizing events and activities “off the beaten track”. Besides teaching and travel, other passions include skiing, scuba diving and good and healthy food.
