Today’s highlight was a video conference call I had with a couple from Brazil relocating to Alicante, a Spanish city on the Mediterranean coast. The husband works for an international corporation.
The teleconference was organized by (DFA). DFA specializes in cross cultural training and we work with them to advise international professionals relocating to Spain or Spanish professionals relocating to the US.
The couple speaks Spanish with a small portuguese accent and their questions were about the following: safety, culture, relations, work habits, house keeping services, the Spanish view and stereotype of Brazilians, …
Overall they view this relocation as a great opportunity professionally and personally for the entire the family to learn Spanish and experience first hand living in Spain.
