Duolingo is a great way to learn a new language for free. Using Duolingo to learn a new language can be fun, and you can learn while on the go. Duolingo offers lessons, which include speaking, listening and translation challenges. If you’re new to Duolingo, here’s a guide on how to use the app to learn a new language.
The Duolingo app is currently available for and users. To get started, you can simply download the app and create a new account.
You will be asked to select the language you want to learn. You have the option to select languages like Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and more. Once you select the language you prefer to learn, the app will ask if you’re a beginner or not a beginner.
Once you go through all the steps, you can start taking lessons. The app will show you various images. Underneath the image, you will see the meaning in the language you selected. Example: If you chose to learn Spanish, it will ask you to select an image that shows “the girl.” If you guess the correct answer you will start to see the meter go up. As you advance you will be asked to translate words in english.
You will lose hearts if you guess incorrectly. If you run out of hearts, you’ll have to try again or continue new lessons. While the Duolingo app is pretty easy to use, you may find it challenging to learn a new language, especially if you’re just starting out.
