Learn Spanish Pitbull

With 495 million speakers, Spanish ranks as the world’s No. 2 language and the number of people learning this language is increasing rapidly – approximately 18 million students in the world study Spanish as a second language and statistics show that by 2030, 7,5% of the world population will speak Spanish (530 million people).

, located in Ronda, seeks to boost these figures by promoting Spanish language and culture amongst the non-native speakers living in the Serranía and the many students coming from overseas to learn Spanish.

Entrelenguas was founded in July 2014 by a group of local young entrepreneurs who decided it was time to come back home and make their project a reality. “We are three friends who reunited in Ronda after some years living abroad [United States, France, England, Germany] and gaining valuable professional experience in the field we are now working in” – says Javier Criado, one of the founders of the School. The goal of this language school is clear: enable people enjoy the Spanish language and culture by respecting and maintaining the social, environmental and cultural values of Ronda and all the cities the students visit. “We collaborate with small, local businesses to develop different activities and workshops: hiking, gardening, community service, flamenco… With all our activities, we ensure our students obtain an authentic experience in Ronda and a closer understanding of Spanish traditions and culture” – says Alejandro Montesinos, the Tourism Manager of Entrelenguas. The  communityis one of the main pillars of the daily activity of the School, which is why they also organize conferences, exhibitions and other events that contribute to the sustainable development of the Serranía.

offers a broad range of Spanish courses that ensure an effective, meaningful and cooperative learning experience for the student. “We know all students have different goals when learning a language, and that’s why we offer different courses. However, they are all focused on the same objective: to help students express themselves successfully in the many different scenarios they will encounter. As such, our courses follow a communicative that allows the student to adjust to any social context” – says Mar, the Academic Director of the School.

Everyone is welcome in this restored and cozy language school. Whether you want to practice your Spanish, read a good book or play chess in good company, there is always a place for everyone in a building that feels like home. Beautifully decorated with second hand furniture, works from local artists and recycled materials, it is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm and from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
