WHO - WHO?
Originally from a small town in the deep south of Bavaria, Germany, I have now been residing in the UK since 2009. Having already completed the State Certified Translator certification in Technology and Engineering at the SDI in Munich, I went on to study at Salford University, achieving a Master’s degree with merit in Translation and Interpretation, German and English.
WHY - WHY?
Subsequently, I had the opportunity to teach German at Salford University and it was this experience that inspired me to go down the education route. After having lived and worked in Spain for seven months to improve my Spanish, I decided to go back to university in the UK where I graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a PGCE in German and French. A purely selfish decision as teaching just makes me happy.
Having taught in Manchester, Liverpool, Crewe and Nantwich at primary, secondary and university level, I have also gained experience in teaching adults for 6 years now.
