Lorraine SantaLucia is the founder of Scholarship Sharing, a student run organization dedicated to helping students find resources for paying for college.
The organization is holding a Scholarship Fair on September 26th and 27th at Tidewater Community College's Chesapeake campus.
During the Scholarship Fair students and their families will network to learn about college funding options such as scholarships, fellowships, and grant programs to help offset educational costs from 60 nonprofit foundation representatives.
A section of the fair will be dedicated to college aid opportunities for military service members, their spouses and children. In addition students can learn about the scholarship opportunities at Tidewater Community College and 12 of its partner universities.
Presentations on finding and applying to scholarships will also be conducted every thirty minutes of the event in both English and Spanish.
Date & Time: Saturday September 26 and Sunday September 27, 2015 from 12-5 pm.
Location: Tidewater Community College Student Center located at 1428 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
