Generally, classes at the Studio consist between six students and twelve students.
Students are encouraged to speak Spanish from the very first day of class. It depends on the individual but, based on our experience, most students are able to carry a simple conversation after completing the three to four series.
Our methodology is based on conversations and we strive to create a relaxed and fun environment. Conversation is the natural way we all learn our native language. Students practice speaking, listening, reading and writing in Spanish. It is a process and we promise to make the journey of learning Spanish fun and enjoyable.
Books may be purchased at the time of registration. If you register by phone or online, you may pay for your books when you register and pick them up before your first class.
We have several regular group times at our studio but we encourage you to email us at or call us at 248 971 0465 for the most up to date schedule of classes.
Each series at our studio is usually 6 to 8 weeks. Most groups meet once per week for one and a half hour.
New students may try a group that the instructor recommends and that fits their schedule. If the student thinks his/her level is below or above that particular group, he/she may try another group.
Yes, all of our instructors are native Spanish speakers from different Spanish countries.
We understand that it may not always be possible to make every group class. Therefore, you are most welcome to make up two group classes per series. You may attend a make up class the same week with a different group where there is an available space. The group maybe at a different level. Please check with us regarding the schedule of available classes and time.
Please take a few minutes to review our 24 hour cancellation policy so you understand why we must adhere to it without exceptions.
Private tutoring sessions MUST be cancelled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled session time. If a student cancels in less than 24 hours, the student will still be billed for the missed class. When a student cancels, in many instances, a tutor is left with an empty hour.
We are proud that we have been able to establish a special, personal, professional, and working relationship with our students and their families. As a result of this “comfort zone,” many students/parents feel that we should be able to waive the cancellation fee. If we waived the fee for every student that forgot an appointment or had an unexpected emergency, then we honestly could not stay in business and provide the quality of services we provide.
We appreciate your cooperation and would like to thank you in advance for respecting our time as professionals.
There are dozens of software and audio packages that you can select from to practice but, we feel, nothing replaces a real Spanish native instructor live.
Students may request a certificate of completion at the end of each semester.
