About Amalía My name is Amalía Stratakos and I have taught all levels of Spanish, as well as Spanish for the Health and Medical Professions, at Cornell University. Before coming to Cornell, I lived in Puerto Rico for many years. From my life experiences there, I realized how amazing it was to be part of that society and speak Spanish daily in a variety of settings.
