ICARE is a registry-based research study and represents a clinical-research-community partnership among medical practitioners, researchers and members of the general population. The common goal of our efforts is to improve the lives of patients and families at risk for inherited cancer susceptibility.
ICARE is made up of individuals who are at high risk for developing hereditary cancer. By increasing awareness of this registry, we hope to identify individuals who are interested in participating in this research. Through ICARE, we continue to contribute to collaborative multi-institutional studies of BRCA mutation carriers. Ultimately, this study seeks to end the cycle of inherited cancer through research, education and outreach.
ICARE was launched in June 2010. We appreciate the efforts of those who have taken the time to participate in the registry.
